A lot has happened since I last blogged. I've met several people who I'm going to spend the next 5-6 months with, and I'm living with Sergio from Mexico, Pietre from Belgium, and Paul from Florida. Seems like the award for shortest trip here belongs to me.
Yesterday was some "tourist"-ing in Idaho Springs, Georgetown, and Silverplume. There was a train ride, some random Michael Jackson scatting, and much munching to be had. I'm really going to get along with this group!

A special congratulations is in order for Tim, a new father, and his baby girl, Penelope!

    Haha, sounds like fun! Munching? Like, eating all the time? I could get along with that too. Glad you're there safely, and on the first leg of your journey!

    My heart is swollen with joy and excitement for you on what will surely be a grand adventure. I hope you wrap your arms around every moment and squeeze it tight... as it all comes and goes so quickly... washing over you like a wave. Best. Thing. Ever. :)
