I figure its about time I give a detailed (and backward) overview of my stay here in Louisville so far.

Yesterday was the last day with the cast for a week. I wished goodbye and good luck on the reunion show. The family served fried pork sandwiches. AMAZING!! After which they taught me how to play Tripoli and I taught them how to play Texas Hold'em Poker. I'm such a good influence...

Sunday was host family day. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park, and I took 3oo pictures. I didn't really know I was capable of that... On our way back we stopped at a Indian/Nepali restaurant for some awesome curry dishes. I stamp that day as a success!

Saturday was Cast B 2010's first show day. Yeah, it was only about half of the show, but now cast has ever done that before. Adrenaline rush, followed by introducing the 8-year-old to all the cute girls in the cast. He might have been a little shy at first... I was the only guy to help the costume girls with strike. Hmm... That night we watched Salt in the theaters. Not a bad movie, but not that great.

Friday was a lot of run-thrus for the show. A lot of run-thrus...

Thursday was pool party day!!! A lot of the cast and staff met up in Broomfield and had a 2-house party with fajita munching and hopping the fence into the neighbors pool. Epic win!!

Wednesday was a long day of rehearsals and whatnot. I was told to start working on Footloose solo exclusively. We (the kids) watched Serenity.
(Since I haven't been journaling, some of the activities beforehand are kind of a blur...)

Saturday the 18th was another day with the family. I went rafting at Clear Creek with Aaron and Leiselot. When I got back, I went to watch Inception with Brandon and Lindsey (my Boulder friend). Definite win on that movie! For dinner, the family went to The Sink. That was some good pizza!

I arrived here in this family's home on Monday. They helped me learn to ride the bus, we've taken many walks together for food and desert, and I've kinda grown a thing for kids (which was definitely not expected). I was their first host-child!

Okay, so since last time I've updated, I've become the primary pianist, I've been selected to workshop in the Gypsy dance, and I've been told to work on the Footloose and What a Wonderful World solos. I'm all kinds of excited for these possibilities. Also, 7 of us native USA residents will be on the culture jam on Wednesday. So much is happening in so little time. At least college prepared me for such an intense experience.

Just like to send a shout-out to my fellow 1-2-5 members. Just to let you know, we were great. Proud to be a former member.

Also, to my girlfriend: Take care babe. ;-) Miss you lots.

A lot has happened since I last blogged. I've met several people who I'm going to spend the next 5-6 months with, and I'm living with Sergio from Mexico, Pietre from Belgium, and Paul from Florida. Seems like the award for shortest trip here belongs to me.
Yesterday was some "tourist"-ing in Idaho Springs, Georgetown, and Silverplume. There was a train ride, some random Michael Jackson scatting, and much munching to be had. I'm really going to get along with this group!

A special congratulations is in order for Tim, a new father, and his baby girl, Penelope!
